Teacher training

We offer a range of courses that lead to City and Guilds (C&G) qualifications in providing learning support or teaching adults or young people over the age of 16. Please note all these courses require an interview before enrolment.

To take these courses you must have evidence of literacy skills at level 2 (e.g. GCSE English or national tests at level 2) or above. If you do not have a suitable qualification in literacy, please refer to the Skills for Life section or contact course information on 020 8600 9191. You will need to bring the certificates for your existing qualifications to the interview.

For students entitled to concessions, on courses marked £R, there is no charge for tuition, just a single registration fee of £18. This is only paid once each academic year, however many courses you enrol on, although you may still have to pay for materials. All certificated courses have an exam fee which has been included in the course fees.
