The performing arts programme offers the opportunity to try out and learn a new discipline or to develop and build upon skills you already have. We offer classes in drama, gospel singing, guitar, piano and six types of dance including for the first time this year street dance. All of these courses are designed to help you tap into your musical or physical creativity whilst at the same time giving you the chance to enjoy yourself. We encourage our performing arts learners to take part in our end of year exhibition by giving a group performance. We are proud to work in close partnership with both the Lyric theatre and the internationally renowned AMICI Dance theatre group.

For students entitled to concessions, on courses marked £R, there is no charge for tuition, just a single registration fee of £18. This is only paid once each academic year, however many courses you enrol on, although you may still have to pay for materials. All certificated courses have an exam fee which has been included in the course fees.

£H Where you see this sign you may be entitled to help with exam and registration fees, please ask at interview.

Please note these courses need an interview before enrolment.
